Is one of the first technical (mining and metallurgy) journal in South America. It was founded in January 1936, by Ouro Preto School of Mines students and since then, has specialized in the publication of articles concerning Civil, Geological, Metallurgical, Materials and Mining Engineering. One of the factors demonstrating the importance of REM is the number of accesses to its Internet site, around 4.3 million viewers, with some articles receiving as many as 170 thousand visits. Its objective is to provide publication opportunities for national and international researchers engaged in the abovementioned fields. We wish to inform you that REM belongs to Open Access and is indexed in Thomson Reuters (ISI), Scielo, Scopus, Geosciences, Scopus and Redalyc.
